Circus in a restaurant! Energetic and joyful circus, comedy, music.
Synopsis
Set in a restaurant, with fun food-themed circus, aerials, acrobatics, juggling, hula hoops, musical moments, comedy and more! This show is high energy, joyful circus!
Bon Appetit showcases a range of circus skills, but with a basic narrative around preparing food in a restaurant, giving it a context and theme that makes it relatable to all audiences.
Bon Appetit premiered at Bunjil Place (VIC) in 2021. It went on to perform a season in Gluttony at the Adelaide Fringe Festival (SA), where it was met with phenomenal reviews, including a Best of Children’s Weekly Award.

Technical Information
Lighting
This show is very adaptable and can make use of the standard rig in almost all circumstances.
• Movers, or fixtures that can be focused, to light the juggling clubs and aerials at height (approximately
4-5m);
• LED wash fixtures to create a full stage wash with colour options;
• Warm & cool front wash
• Some back or side lights is essential for some of the circus routines
Audio
• Mixing desk;
• FOH PA system + amps suitable for the space;
• On stage monitors;
• 1 x wireless mic pack & receiver for the ukulele;
• 1 x wireless handheld mic & receiver;
• 1 x boom mic stand.
Staging
No set piece, just the props and circus equipment pre-set
Crew Notes
This show can be operated by a single operator.
Transport Notes
One people mover is ideal to transport the circus equipment as well as the three performers.
