From the moment Uncle Ringo welcomed us to Showcase Victoria, it was evident that this was going to be a great day.
Hosted by the ever charming Liza Maza, what Showcase Victoria 2021 lacked in duration it made up for in warmth – the foyers were buzzing in the breaks as people connected in person for the first time in a long time.
Congratulations to all the producers and performance-makers who pitched their work, and to all of the venue managers, programming partners and industry folk who showed up in anticipation.
The survey results are currently being collated, and over the coming weeks the process of developing tours will begin. Videos of the presentations from the day will soon be available on the Showcase Victoria website.
